The Yasika River passes through the "Cordillera Septentrional", the northern mountain chain of the Dominican Republic and winds its way down to the Atlantic Ocean just west of Cabarete.
The river is incredibly beautiful, and it’s easy to paddle through the rapids with several spots to stop along the way for a swim in deep green swimming holes. Ideal for families and friends, these trips are usually 3 hours long.
